Yonex VCORE Pro 97 Tennis Racket Green
With its impressive control and feel the standard 310g VCORE PRO 97 is an exceptional racket for advanced players. At 310g, this is the most popular racket in the range. The slightly thicker frame is a major change from previous models.
The third generation of the VCORE PRO comes with a number of key changes and enhancements which improve the rackets flexibility, feel and power, all while maintaining the impressive control on which the series has been a leading choice in.
Players will instantly notice the thicker beam width of the VCORE PRO which allows for greater power potential and vastly improved frame stability. Other key changes to the frame include the newly designed throat area from which players can now expect an improved level of flex and feel.
The graphite used in the construction has also been drastically improved with two key additions - Flex Force and Flex Fuse - which combine to form the 'FlexCon System' that brings the all new level of control to the series.
Flex Fuse is a shock-absorbing polymer integrated into the graphite to give the VCORE PRO its improved flex and its soft, plush feel. The improved comfort is a welcome addition for players spending extended time on the court as well as those looking to prevent arm injuries.
Flex Force graphite allows the VCORE PRO to flex and snap back quicker allowing for more spin faster ball acceleration off the string bed.
Some of the key technologies from the previous model also make a return including the Lock Booster Grommet System, Vibration Dampening Mesh and the iconic Isometric head shape.
The black frame with sections of bright teal and purple make this one of the sleekest looking Yonex rackets yet.
FlexCon System
For racket flex and feel. A tapered and elongated box-frame shaft is composed of Flex Force and Flex Fuse graphite for precise control of the ball.
Flex Fuse
For a softer feeling. A shock-absorbing polymer is integrated within the graphite’s resin for increased racquet flex and a softer, more plush feeling.
2G-Namd Flex Force
For increased ball-pocketing. Flex Force graphite allows the racquet to quickly flex and snap back for greater spin and faster ball acceleration off the string bed.
Thicker Frame Design
Increased power potential. Widening the outer beam of the racquet creates added frame stability and repulsion.
Lock Booster Grommet System
Ball-crushing spin. An improved grommet design that promotes string contact for efficient energy transfer and power.
Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM)
For added touch and precision. A stretchy mesh material is wrapped around the graphite within the grip to filter unwanted vibrations.

Trying out a racket before you buy can be a great way of making sure you get the correct racket for you. We have invested in creating a huge range of demo rackets for our customers to try. There are two different ways of testing rackets with us. Please read carefully before borrowing a racket. Our demo rackets are kept in the best condition possible and restrung whenever needed. However we cannot restring demo rackets specifically for each customer.
1) Pick up a racket in store: A deposit of £5 per racket will be charged each time you demo a racket. This is non refundable but will be taken off any future purchase of those frames (not transferrable to other items). Only one £5 fee can be taken off each purchase. Customers are allowed to borrow up to THREE rackets each time, subject to availability for up to 1 week. You will be expected to return rackets to the shop promptly otherwise future testing may be refused.
2) Demo by post: To borrow a racket test when you can't make it to our store, find the racket you like on our site, select the demo option (not available on every racket) and place your order, paying the £49.99 deposit. Only ONE racket may be sent at a time by post. We will send out your ordered demo racket as soon as one is available (there may be a waiting list). Customers will be expected to return the demo racket after up to 1 week of light playtesting. Return the racket in the box they came in by your choice of courier. We suggest Parcelforce, DHL or UPS. Please note this will be at your own expense.
After the racket is received back at the shop we will send you a discount code to get £30.00 off your chosen racket. If you choose not to buy that racket we will refund £30.00 of your deposit.
We reserve the right to reduce the amount of discount/refund at our managers discretion should any demo rackets come back damaged more than we feel is reasonable for playtesting. If rackets are not returned for any reason including being lost in transit then deposits will not be refunded. You will not be charged for any string breakages whilst testing a racket.
